The Christian marriage life is one that is committed to honoring God. If you’re a Christian you are held to a higher standard in God’s eyes than those who do not belong to Him. Therefore, your lifestyle cannot be like people who are worldly or materialistic.

You have essentially committed your lives to the marriage and to Him.

A Christian marriage life comes with certain priorities that are required by God. Your commitment before God holds you to these priorities. He expects you to love, honor, and obey Him and live your life according to His Word.

Marriage Fitness

By marriage fitness I’m speaking of staying in shape both physically and mentally. If both of you are into fitness then that’s great and you’re setting a good example for your children to follow. If not, then it’s time to get busy and remedy the situation.

If you’re not in shape physically then it affects your mental health and vice versa. You have to start somewhere, so why not start online by researching ways to exercise as a family and read a few self help e-books. Online is a start then you can take it from there.

Emotional Infidelity

Emotional infidelity is when a person thinks intimately about and desires emotional intimacy with someone other than their spouse. Then they begin to fantasize about sexual or emotional inappropriate behaviors with them on a daily basis.

Many times emotional infidelity begins when you disclose intimate details of your marriage with someone of the opposite sex. You may be having a rough time in the marriage and feel like you can’t talk to your spouse, so you end up trying to get validation elsewhere. This is a big mistake!

Communication in Marriage- Is Vital

If you think communication in marriage would be vital to it’s success you would be right. If there’s lack of communication it will be no time before one spouse or the other is unhappy. No one gets married to be unhappy, your spouse is supposed to bring happiness into the relationship, not the opposite. Naturally, no one is happy 100 percent of the time and there will be some bad days, however, the good should outweigh the bad. If not, then possibly communication is lacking in the relationship and it’s best to not overlook this, but take action immediately to repair it.

Overcoming jealousy in marriage can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be if you know what to do. If you’re a drama king or queen you most likely have fits of jealousy because you thrive on drama. The whole jealousy mindset is about drama and insecurity.

There is such a thing as healthy jealousy where you see someone really is flirting with your spouse or vice versa. Or you have found REAL evidence of cheating not something you made up in your mind. Many times jealousy is imagined and not a reality.
